Dmitri Maslennikov

Russian Classical Cellist

Born in Saint-Petersburg, Dmitri Maslennikov reveals his musical dimension by winning between the ages of 11 and 13, the International Soloists Competition in Moscow, the Czech International Competition in Prague, a prize at the Tchaikovsky Competition and the Rostropovich Competition. At age of 14, he received a scholarship from the French government to study at the Conservatoire de Paris, where he was unanimously awarded a First Prize.
